Waste and Recycling
ROLAND WASTE DISPOSAL GROUND is operated as a Transfer Station. Located on Arctic Road (Road 25 N), 1 mile East of Roland and ¼ mile south. A ramp area has been constructed to facilitate loading into the collection bins. We continue to maintain collection areas for metal, tires, chemical containers, and clean-burn materials (wood/paper products). There is a $5 tipping fee at the gate for large appliances: fridges, stoves, freezers, dryers, washing machines, dishwashers.
